Local track and basketball stars pegged as athletes to watch in 2007-08
For followers who track DFW high school sports, Brooklyn Pope and Shade Weygandt are known local stars. Rise magazine's mention of the two athletes could push their national exposure further.
RiseMag.com put a spotlight on FW Dunbar's Brooklyn Pope and Mansfield's Shade Weygandt. The athletes are listed as top girls' high school athletes for the 2007-08 season.
As an added bonus, Weygandt was also named to the 2007 Girls All-USA Track and Field Team
