DMN article prompts flood of contributions for DFW USO
Over the memorial day weekend, columnist Steve Blow wrote an article about the lack of funding and contributions going in to DFW's USO program. This shortage would mean several services and items provided to troops flying out of DFW airport would be cut. Over the following week, however, the USO has been flooded with letters containing contributions. The DFW USO provides services to nearly 600 military personnel a day and relies on local contributions for a quarter of its total funding, so the recent week's boon has been much needed.
Use the following address to send your own contributions to support the DFW USO:
USO Dallas/Fort Worth
P.O. Box 613306
D/FW Airport, Texas, 75261
