Plano Civic Chorus holding auditions for 2007-2008 season
The Plano Civic Chorus will audition all voice parts in preparation for its 2007-2008 season. The auditions will be held in the choir room at St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Plano. Times for the auditions are:
- Monday, July 30 – beginning at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, August 4 – beginning at 10 a.m.
Choral experience is preferred, but Plano residency is not required. Participation in the Plano Civic Chorus (PCC) requires annual dues of $100 and the purchase of concert attire.
In the 2007-2008 season, the chorus will perform Brahms’ Requiem in October, Handel’s Messiah in December, Rachmaninov’s Vespers in March, 2008, and their 35th birthday celebration concert in May, 2008.
Rehearsals for the 2007-08 season begin Monday, August 6, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room of St. Andrew United Methodist Church on Plano Parkway
