White Rock Coffee looking to book neighborhood musicians
DALLAS — Via Lake Highlands musical maven Kate Mackley:
Just to let you know I've picked up another booking gig and it's at White Rock Coffee in Lake Highlands. WRC has offered music nights for the past two years, and owners Bob and Nancy Baker asked me to take over the their music booking as of now. I have a very blank summer calendar to fill, and I'd love to book you and your artists. It's a coffee shop, so I'm looking for mainly acoustic musicians, and especially young talent. I'm also looking for artists who live in Lake Highlands who would like to be "regulars" at WRC (translation: you'll play pretty often, and I'll call you in a panic when someone cancels!). So, please, your interest and your referrals are much appreciated.
- Friday and Saturday nights 8-12p
- Thursday Christian music nights 8-11p
- Tips only, WRC has a PA
