DC, says:

All we need to do is move the Kimbell and the Modern over here, destroy Fort Worth and we could start enjoying ourselves.

Boy.... that's a fine thing to say. I live in Cowtown and usually don't bother with remarking on the corruption, excessive crime, and nastiness of Dallas. I bet I know what DC stands for. I see why it is anonymous. This is typical of Dallasites who support Bush and mistakenly think the answer to everything is "kicking someone's ass!" If the wonderful city of Fort Worth were destroyed and two great museums were relocated to “Big D”, neither the classless “DC” nor Dallas would smell any better. Motorists there would not drive any less aggressive or less violent, the oftentimes deadly racial strife wouldn’t stop, and one thing for sure… DC would not start enjoying itself. That isn’t ALL you need. What Texas city would I like to see destroyed so I could start enjoying myself? Um-m-m…let me think… absolutely none! What other buildings would I like to have transported to my town so I could begin enjoying myself? U-m-m… NONE. One thing about Fort Worth that infuriates other places east of us, other failed-New-York-wanna-be urban wastelands, is the people here are warmer, and (gasp) friendly. While it may be a violation of city ordinance to be friendly and smile in larger cities, it is why many here, where the west begins, are enjoying themselves already without any needed extra violence/destruction/stupidity.

Note: As “DC” lives in Oak Cliff, there will never come a time when enjoyment arrives.

So much for Mike’s interview.

Is it difficult being completely humorless?

Rick Yost, says:

Wow...that IS warm, and friendly!

I think some folks are just a little tired of being stuck in a place called 'cow town'- where all the CEOs dress up on the weekend in their Stetsons and Tony Lamas and play cowboy.

Dallas CEOs are modern cowboys- they trade their penstripes for leather and climb onto their Harleys.
