Captain Hope’s Kids, a Dallas-based nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the critical needs of homeless children, has announced that the Captain Hope’s Kids 2007 Golf Classic will be held on Monday, October 1, 2007 at Las Colinas Country Club.
Without your contribution, not only will children go hungry, but these rich old people will be unable to play golf with their clients.
But before everything is underway, the organization is calling for sponsors.
Says Jeanne Reyer, executive director of Captain Hope's kids: “We need sponsors on every level. It’s a great opportunity for exposure to a key decision making audience, and a great way to make a charitable contribution to help children in your own community.”
The level of participation sponsors can undertake varies from smaller donations of all kinds, to individual golf contributions, to putting green sponsors, etc. Past sponsors have included Nissan, RCA, Padgett Printing, Whirlpool, Panasonic, and Verizon among others.

• Provide 360,000 diapers & training pants
• Provide over 10,500 school uniforms, supplies and backpacks
• Provide $67,826 worth of recreational activities for homeless children
• The 2006 total value of supplies distributed to homeless children was over $466,500
