Dallas Council approves downtown condominium project, Tower Petroleum Building renovation
Today the Dallas City Council voted to set aside $15 million in public subsidies for a hotel and condominium project in downtown Dallas.

At least they put some stipulations on the development and investment.
Otherwise, another 'high end' condo building in downtown - hey, how are sales going at the Metropolitan? Roaring? How about values at 1505 Elm?
Dear City Hall, instead of handing out more tax abatements and otherwise messing around turn some more lights on and put some real cops on the street? Yes, real ones, not cameras hooked up to nursing home residents and not the shorts wearing safety patrol.
