Sex offender in Dallas is first in the U.S. to be arrested for using MySpace
MySpace succumbed to demands to give up names of known sex offenders who use the site.
DALLAS — A sex offender who was out of prison on probation was arrested for using MySpace (which WFAA calls "a popular Web site for kids").
Using the Internet was a violation of his parole. He's the first person in the country to be arrested since MySpace gave in to demands that they turn over a list of sex offenders who use the site.
