A wooden laptop—not an easy feat for novices.

A wooden laptop—not an easy feat for novices.

For many, many months, Grand Prairie's Senior Center has hosted regular Tuesday wood carving classes. And most likely, they'll continue hosting them until the end of time.

Drop by the center (located at 925 Conover Drive) this week at 7:00 p.m. and you can learn how to whittle, carve and chisel wood into masterful works of art.

The classes are free. It's not B.Y.O.W., but you could try. Call 972-264-4975 for more information.
