Tom Hicks files for IPO
Hicks hopes to raise $400 million through the IPO.
DALLAS According to this story in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears Tom Hicks' company Hicks Acquisition Co. is planning on selling 40 million units at $10 a share as part of their initial public offering.
Hicks Acquisition Co. was formed as a "blank check" company to buy other businesses, although no specific industry was targeted and no business prospects were identified.
