Unidentified man found dead in apartment
Police are investigating the death of a unidentified man whose body was found Monday in his apartment within the 8000 block of Chariot Drive.
According to police, an employer became concerned after an employee didn't show up for work on Monday, so he went to the employee's apartment, thus finding the body.
The employer then sent the man back to work with a severe scolding and docked his pay.

Rawlins Gilliland, says:
This story took place no where near 'Pleasant Grove' but rather, just south of I-30 Thornton... and miles north of Pleasant Grove...in the neighborhood of BUCKNER TERRACE, which is north of Urbandale which is north of Piedmont which is north of Pleasant Grove which begins at Bruton Road south to I-175.
For God's sakes, this story happened within walking distance of Mesquite and closer to Casa Linda and Lakewood than to Pleasant Grove which is a neighborhood (one of 8) in Southeast Dallas, NOT the generic name FOR Southeast Dallas.
Why does this error of 'reporting' southeast Dallas stories perpetuate? Especially since this was discussed extensively recently in Pegasus.
This headline should be changed. It is grossly inaccurate.

Agreed and fixed. When we report via linkage to another site, we sometimes commit the sin of picking up their inaccurate characterization. We're working on it...

Rawlins Gilliland, says:
Actually, miles, the original headline included the inacurate & misleading 'location' name, "Pleasant Grove", since removed.
Readers can pick and choose what is or isn't 'minor' regarding factual relevance ... but happily Pegasus News (and some writers) don't.
As for where I 'major', that requires a date and good wine.
