The local Interwebs are all abuzz with Cas Haley's performance on America's Got Talent last night. Our first clue, as Team Pegasus was out at the Tip instead of by the tube last night, came from the huge spike in traffic to the pages on our site for Cas and his band Woodbelly (several thousand each). Then a comment, then this email from Bob Cummins of Club Dada and Hard Night's Day:
I got a small scoop for ya'. Last night I saw Cas Haley ( lead singer Woodbelly) on the NBC show "America, You'e got Talent". Mind you, I don't normally watch this awful show...but I got a tip he was going to be on it.
Anyway , he performed 'Waliking on the Moon" solo w/ acoustic. The judges FREAKED OUT! The British judge(Simon Coewell knock-off) said he sang it better than Sting. Sharon Osbourne said "We might as well give you the Million dollars right now!". And David Hasselhof said he was"Blown Away"
Surreal...but true. And...pretty cool.
