Kenny Rogers has known how to beat the Rangers for nearly two decades
The Texas Rangers finally lost to a division-leading team Thursday afternoon, getting beaten by their former ace Kenny Rogers 5-2 in Detroit. Rogers, making just his second start since coming off surgery, mowed down the Rangers with ease, giving up just one run and four hits in six innings.
The Rangers wasted a rare quality start from ace Kevin Millwood, who pitched six innings and gave up just three runs, lowering his overall ERA to a miniscule 7.06.
