Fluor Corporation announced today that its Government Group was awarded a Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV contract by the U.S. Army. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract has a performance period of one base year with nine one-year renewal options. The maximum value to any single yearly contract may be up to $5 billion dollars. Work will be competitively bid by the U.S. Army on a task order basis.

“This is a great opportunity to serve the American soldiers and to provide the support they need to complete their missions around the world,” said John Hopkins, president of Fluor’s Government Group. “We are proud that Fluor and our employees were chosen for this important role and we look forward to delivering quality and value for the Army.”

Established by the U.S. Army to fulfill the Department of Defense's global mission during contingency events, LOGCAP provides the military with additional capabilities to rapidly support and augment the logistic requirements of its deployed forces through use of a civilian contractor.

Fluor served the U.S. Government on LOGCAP II as well as in a variety of other areas including mission support in Iraq and Afghanistan, military construction around the world, hurricane relief in Gulf Coast, earthquake relief in the Western United States and nuclear decommissioning at government-owned sites.
