Art Institute of Dallas publishes “friendly restaurant” list
The Art Institute of Dallas (AiD) has made public a listing of North Texas restaurants which employ former and/or current students of AiD.
What this might mean to the typical diner is an open question, but the list is an extensive one and includes several notable Dallas eating establishments, such as Nana, The Mansion on Turtle Creek, Ciudad and Stephan Pyles Restaurant (although the list spells it "Stephen.")
More mainstream muncheries on the list include steakhouses such as Saltgrass and Trail Dust; Mexican joints such as J. Pepe's and Chipotle; and chain faves like Cheddar's and Humperdinks.
And if rolling the names of these places around on your tongue doesn't make you salivate, then you've probably just stuffed yourself. (Me, I'm taking lunch early.)
