Grand Prairie named sixth fastest-growing 100,000+ city, says U.S. Census

A study conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau has named Grand Prairie, Texas as the sixth fastest growing in the nation for cities larger than 100,000.
The study, which measures the change in population estimates in U.S. cities from 2005 to 2006, finds that Grand Prairie's population increased from 144,352 in July 2005 to 153,812 in July 2006—a 6.6% growth rate.
The Top 10 fastest growing 100,000+ cities are:
