Heavy rains sweep 10-foot alligator into Lake Ray Hubbard

0

Residents in Rockwall were a little concerned, and surprised, to learn that a very large, possibly 10-foot long, alligator has taken up residence in Lake Ray Hubbard. Wildlife specialists are not as concerned, however, and say that the alligator was probably flushed here by all the rain from Lake Lavon. The not-likely-human-blood-crazed reptile will likely return to the environment it's comfortable with when the water levels get lower. Lake Lavon is a natural habitat for alligators.
