Rockwall DA takes taxpayer money for personal account
The DMN reports that over $68,000 in taxpayer money has ended up in the personal checking account of Rockwall County Criminal District Attorney Galen Ray Sumrow. He is now being charged with abuse of of official capacity, and could face up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sumrow has not yet turned himself in, although he is expected to do so.
