Top-ranked McKinney Boyd girls soccer could face penalties
Boyd self-reported eligibility infractions on Tuesday.
The top-ranked 4A team in the state is under scrutiny for possible eligibility infractions in two soccer games.
Boyd is undefeated (7-0-1) in its first season of play. The District Executive Committee will investigate the incident . They could have a ruling as early as the weekend or not until the end of March. No penalties, which could include forfeiting the games played with ineligible players, will be administered until the DEC release its findings.
