Allen ISD to hold annual job fair

The Allen Independent School District will host its annual job fair March 31 from 8 a.m. to noon at Allen High School (300 Rivercrest Blvd, Allen).
“All principals and supervisors will be available to talk to applicants about possible openings for the 07-08 school year,” said Kelly Mires, Director of Human Resources. “Each applicant will need to bring several copies of their resume. Our job fair has been very successful the last five years with over 1,100 applicants applying each year.”
Staff members will be accepting applications for elementary and secondary teaching positions for the 2007–2008 school year. Allen ISD is also seeking applicants for paraprofessional, student nutrition, bus driver and other support positions for next year. No appointment is necessary.
A job application and up-to-date job openings can be found by visiting www.allenisd.org and choosing “Employment” under “Popular Links.”
