Motorcycles are dangerous
FORT WORTH — Motorcycles are fun to ride but they're also one step short of a suicide mission. Steven Clayton, a 46-year-old Fort Worth man, died in an accident early Friday morning, around 1 a.m., when a woman pulled out of a parking lot in the 6300 block of Oakmont Boulevard in southwest Fort Worth.

Nice propagation of mis-information. What is dangerous are clueless and inattentive drivers that violate the right of way of motorcyclists.

Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done about the clueless drivers on the road. Don't forget that some people buy an SUV so that the other guy will die instead of them. I'd love to get the gas mileage of a motorcycle, but the price of other peoples' incompetence is just too steep.

bmwhd, sorry, my wording was confusing. i actually have a motorcycle license myself (altho my only 2-wheels these days are on a vespa - pls don't laugh). i guess i should/could've said, "life is dangerous for motorcycles" or else "riding motorcycles is dangerous because of morons in cars" - but i was trying to go for "pithy".
