UPDATED: New Dallas bishop named

Kevin Farrell, Auxiliary Bishop of Washington, will replace Bishop Charles Grahmann.

Video removed due to FOX reneging on content partnership.

Reports the Whispers in the Loggia blog, written by Rocco Palmo of Philadelphia, (and now picked up by the DMN, fancy that): "According to several sources, Bishop Kevin Farrell, the 59 year-old auxiliary of Washington, will be named to succeed Bishop Charles Grahmann, whose retirement is due for reasons of age."

Bishop Charles Grahmann turned 75 in the summer of 2006. As required by canon law, when bishops turn 75 they are to supposed to submit their resignation to the Vatican.

UPDATE: It all happened as suggested above. (Would have linked to the official diocese site on this, but it is currently down.)
