Local marketing firm to help give free valet parking
Baby, let us drive your car.
A few months back, Shannon Wynne wrote a piece for us ranting and raving about having to pay for valet parking. Well Shannon will be happy to hear that others share his views, and even see it as an opportunity. Dallas-based Advertickets is putting together a marketing campaign for GMC that will provide free valet parking at major shopping destinations in eight cities around the country not including Dallas. Of course, the valet ticket will be an advertisement for the new Acadia vehicle. This is traditional flier marketing, except that people will have an incentive not to throw away the flier. In fact, they'll be happy that someone has just handed them an ad. Very smart promotion.

Great. They can drive my car into a post and say, "hey with the insurance money, why don't you buy one of these nice Acadias?"

As a point of clarification, this promotion is not happening in Dallas. The local connection is that it's being executed by Dallas-based AdverTickets.
