South Oak Cliff going for third straight 4A title; FW Dunbar loses in semifinals
The Golden Bears will face Beaumont Ozen on Saturday for the 4A state championship. Tip-off is 3:30 p.m.
Ozen (28-5) defeated Forth Worth Dunbar (30-7), the second-ranked team in Texas, 68-56.
South Oak Cliff (31-3) played a tight game against Pflugerville Connally (28-6) . A three-pointer by the G-Bears' Cornelius Dawson gave SOC the lead, 45-44, with 1:50 left in the game. The final score was 48-44.
