TexUS at SXSW will provide insight, advice, and beer for those interested in a music career

On Wednesday, March 14, those of you already in bands, or interested in getting into music, can chat with Texas sponsors about industry topics like legal representation, recording, promotions, and website management. On hand at the event, called TexUS, will be reps from Falkin+Sachse Law, BandSiteLive.com, Junius Recording Company, and Method Entertainment to answer your questions. Plus there will be five Texas bands performing:
- Arthur Yoria - noon
- The Mercers - 1 p.m.
- Airline - 2 p.m.
- Doug Burr - 3 p.m.
- Pleasant Grove - 4 p.m.
At 5 p.m. there will be a special guest. Who? No clue, but he/she/they is/are "special," so you should probably check it out.
TexUS will be at B.D. Rileys on 6th Street in Austin. The flyer says if you go early you get free beer. Why the heck not, eh?
