The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced that TCU junior guard Adrianne Ross is a finalist for the 2007 Kodak/WBCA All-America team.

Ross is one of 52 finalists who are voted upon by WBCA member coaches in each of the eight WBCA regions. All 52 finalists will be vying for a spot on the 10-member team that will be announced on March 31 at the NCAA Women's Final Four.

The Hobbs, N.M., native would join Sandora Irvin as the only TCU players to receive Kodak/WBCA All-America honors. Irvin was named to the Kodak/WBCA All-America Team in 2005 and was selected to the Kodak/WBCA All-America Honorable Mention Team in 2004.

On the season, Ross averages a league-best 17.5 points per game and ranks 19th in the country with an average of 3.0 steals per game. Ross' play merited her being selected Mountain West Conference Co-Player of the Year on March 5.

Six of the 10 Kodak All-Americans from last season are back on the ballot in 2007. Included in the returning players are Tasha Humphrey (Georgia), Jessica Davenport (Ohio State), Ivory Latta (North Carolina), Candace Parker (Tennessee), Courtney Paris (Oklahoma) and Candice Wiggins (Stanford).

Ross is the one of six players from Region 7 on the ballot. Also from Region 7 are Natalie Doma (Idaho State), Robyn Fairbanks (Utah Valley State College), Andrea Lightfoot (Idaho State), Mandy Morales (Montana), Hanna Zavecz (Wyoming).
