Grand Prairie group wants to create quilts for injured troops
Roxie McCuller, who works for the Grand Prairie Wellness Center and Grand Prairie Senior Center, is looking for volunteers to help the local Tie Quilting & Afgans group in creating quilts for current injured troops in hospitals.
The group will begin working on the new quilts, starting on April 4 and meet every Wednesday from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
The group will meet at the Grand Prairie Senior Center, which is located at 925 Conover Drive. For more information, please call (972) 264-4975 or (972) 264-4973.
