New candidate filings in Keller
The last day of filings brought two challengers to the Keller Council race.
The last day of filings brought two challengers to the Keller Council race.
Pat McGrail filed for the Mayor’s race against incumbent Julie Tandy. Pat served on the Keller City Council for four-and-two-half two-year terms before stepping down in 2003 to run against fellow council member Tandy in the race to replace retiring Mayor Dave Phillips. The vote was 1113 to 750.
Ray Brown filed his candidacy for City Council Place 1 against incumbent Steve Trine. Ray is a Certified Public Accountant and former Chairman of the Planning & Zoning Commission. Trine was first elected in 2001 and was re-elected in 2003 with 74% of the vote, and again in 2005 with 51% of the vote.
