Arlington domestic dispute turns into shooting
Arlington police officers responded to a shooting call at the 600 block of North Pecan Street. The male victim was extremely intoxicated and had difficulty communicating with officers. According to the victim's wife (or live-in girlfriend; relationship not clear), the couple had been involved in a domestic dispute. They were having a very heated argument and the victim ransacked the house. She said he cut his hand on a picture frame and officers found blood all over the inside of the duplex. According to the victim's wife/girlfriend, the victim was very upset, ran outside, and immediately ran into two suspects who shot him once and then fled on foot. The victim was taken to a Fort Worth hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach. His injuries are non-life-threatening. The investigation is ongoing.
