What happened to the Arcadia sign?

We know after the fire that the famous Arcadia sign got bought in an auction, but by whom?

The famous Arcadia sign that was auctioned off after the Arcadia Theater burned down last year is now ready to be "re-lit." Avi Adelman tells us that The Kilgore Law Center purchased the sign to be a part of their art gallery. They are even going to have a public re-lighting as part of a fundraising event for the Belmont neighborhood. Check out a copy of the invitation below:

More good news about the Arcadia Theatre Marquee rededication -

1 - Raffle event, with all proceeds to benefit the Belmont Neighborhood Association (Lower Greenville). Lots of restaurant prizes on the list

2 - Pull the Switch contest - Online only entry for residents around Lower Greenville. Winner (or his/her kids) get to pull the switch to relight the sign

3 - Daddy Jack's Auction - Dinner for Eight served in your home by Daddy Jack Chaplin and his crew (all food and beverages provided by Daddy Jack's)

Details will be posted at both the Belmont NA and BarkingDogs websites (www.belmontna.org and www.barkingdogs.org)

The Pull the Switch contest will be posted on a different site for 24 hours, starting March 22nd - www.belmontna.com

The sign will be posted on top of the MADI Museum at Hall and Cole Streets (3109 Cole, to be exact)

It has been completely renovated - new gangway, new wiring, new light tubes, the whole thing!
