The 13th Annual Deep Ellum Arts Festival is back and will be featuring not only tons of artsy, dancing, eating and drinking, and pet related booths and events, but 65 bands rocking four outdoor stages. More information on the headliners below:

Matt Timmons and his associates with Copasetic Ballyhoo have set up the program for more than 65 original bands and singer/songwriters who will perform from four separate outdoor entertainment stages, reflecting Deep Ellum’s music scene. All stages will be rocking simultaneously with an eclectic mix of genres, including Dallas' favorite rock and indie bands. This year’s headliners include The Hourly Radio, Strangelove, Joint Method, Big Red Rooster, Spoonfed Tribe, Forever The Sickest Kids, Blunt Force Crew, Kristen Mari, Dura Hale, Egress, along with appearances by Sean Michel from American Idol and Rupert from Survivor.

The festival, which by the way is free to attend, will take place from Friday, April 6, to Sunday, April 8. Check out the Pegasus event listing for the full music schedule for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

In addition to all the artsy craftsy stuff you can see, another highlight of this year's festival will be the "world famous 720 Action Sports Team performing BMX and inline skating stunt shows throughout the weekend on Crowdus street between Main Street and Elm Street." Bitchin'.

Good thing this is an outdoor festival, as there are no other indoor venues left for any bands to play at.
