Panel says TXU must open up its books to state regulators
Reports the S-T: "The three-member (Texas Public Utility Commission) panel directed staff to begin proceeding with requiring the North Texas utility to defend expenses associated with its transmission and distribution system."
Meanwhile, as you may or may not know, The Blackstone Group, plus The Carlyle Group and Riverstone Holdings, are considering making an offer for TXU.
The energy company has until April 16 to solicit and consider bids.
