DFW Kroger stores open fire on Wal-Mart in grocery war
Milk sells for about $1 less than average at some Kroger stores now.
Kroger stores in DFW are giving Wal-Mart the grocer's middle finger by selling milk for about $1 less than average.
Kroger is on the offense against Wal-Mart elsewhere, too, such as in Indiana and Kentucky. The Great Grocer's War has begun!
A Dallas-based analyst says Kroger is a force on the rise.
Meanwhile, Wal-Mart recently scuttled plans to open a store in Fort Worth.
