Doughmonkey in Snider Plaza closes retail operation
DALLAS On Saturday, March 24, Doughmonkey abruptly closed its retail operation to focus on its wholesale business, selling pastries to restaurants such as Drip Coffee and Times Ten Cellars in Lakewood.
Although the bakery won national attention and was a favorite among foodies such as local blog Dallasfood.org, its retail business was often inconsistent in terms of hours of operation and selection of products offered.
The kitchen will remain at the Snider Plaza location, and desserts can be ordered two days in advance by calling 214-890-1300 or by hitting the bakery's Web site.
