Pegasus News Election Survey: Dulani Masimini, Forest Hill City Council
Here at Pegasus News, we sent a short questionnaire out to every candidate running for public office in the greater-DFW area.
Dulani Masimini, who is running for Forest Hill City Council, recently sent back his answers to the questionnaire.
Pegasus: What is the greatest thing that the Forest Hill City Council has achieved in the past year?
Masimini: Hiring of David Miller as City Manager
Pegasus: What is the single biggest improvement that the Forest Hill City Council needs?
Masimini: -Ethics oaths for conducting business as an elected city official, -Long term plan for development
Pegasus: What is the toughest problem that you have ever solved?
Masimini: This question is flawed. How does this question give insight on a candidate? An individual could write anything. Better question, "What problems would like to solve in Forest Hill?" The Roads.
Pegasus: If you are elected and can only achieve ONE quantifiable thing in your term, what would you want it to be?
Masimini: This question is flawed. You should not run if you only solve one thing or looking only to solve one thing. Priorities -long term business, -create incentive tax deductions for home improvement, -discount on taxes for people with disabilities
