KDGE wants you battle to share the stage with Black Tie Dynasty
KDGE 102.1 The Edge and the Gas Pipe are hosting a Battle of the Bands to share a stage with Black Tie Dynasty, Miser, and The Vanished at the Granada Theatre.
Want the chance to open for Black Tie Dynasty at the Granada? Well, it looks like you could get that opportunity, but you will have to fight for it.
KDGE 102.1 The Edge and the Gas Pipe are hosting a Battle of the Bands to share a stage with Black Tie Dynasty, Miser, and The Vanished. To enter the contest you will need to drop off your band's CD with your contact info at the Edge studios (14001 North Dallas Parkway, Suite 300, Dallas TX, 75240) or fill out the online form here.
On April 16, Ayo will announce the ten bands that are in the Battle of the Bands and from there three bands will be chosen to play in a second round in front of industry professionals on May 7 at Dreamworld Music Complex (psst, it's not closed like we thought). The winner of that? You got it. The winner will play at the Granada with three local heavy-hitters. And who knows, maybe you'll be famous. Not likely from just one show, but it's OK to dream.
