AFI Dallas: Magnolia red carpet photos

Talent handlers prepare to handle the talent - figuratively speaking, of course.
Enlarge photo | View thumbnailsMan, I was sure glad they moved the red carpet inside last night (Friday, March 31) - otherwise we might have ended up with a slew of sopping wet celebrities, along with photographers shooting from inside of plastic trash bags to keep their expensive photo gear dry. And you've got to figure that might have proven disastrous, because some of these celebs look like they might have fought the photogs for the bags. Anyway, that's pure speculation at this point.
What actually did happen is chronicled here; I'll be adding a couple more images once I've identified the subjects - it was a regular FEEDING FRENZY up in the little loft across from the Magnolia theater, what with a lot more people showing up than we were led to believe. Take those nice Hanson boys, for instance.
I was stationed next to some kids from KCBY, the student TV station for Coppell High School. Turns out they'll be hosting a film festival at the school on Friday, April 13. Maybe I'll check it out!

Wait'll you see their repeat performance on last night's Inwood red carpet (I'm working up those photos now) - these kids are sharp and determined.
