Kimball High tennis team finishes season with championships
The the Kimball High School tennis team finished off their 2007 tennis season by capturing the District 14-4A regular season dual championship, as well as the girls end of season tournament title.
The team was led by the 1st place girls doubles team of Demetria Edwards and Erika Duncan, as well as Damaris Lara who placed 2nd in girls singles. The team of Edwards and Duncan as well as Lara all qualified for the Region II tennis tournament which was held in Denton last weekend.
Placing third in the district tournament was the mixed doubles team of Juan Pacheco and Taylor Mc Kinney, while Hirvin Reyes placed third in boys singles.
The Kimball Knights tennis team is lead by Coach Jimmy Jones.
