Hulcy Middle School student shot off-campus during lunch break
Several juveniles left Hulcy Middle School, they said, on their lunch break, and were walking in the area of Daniel Dale/Polk. They became involved in an argument with a resident at that location. The resident allegedly fired in their direction, sticking one of them in the leg. The juveniles then ran back to Hulcy Middle School at 9339 South Polk and requested help from security officers. This shooting did not occur at the school and does not involve the school. The resident who allegedly shot the juvenile has been taken into custody.
