New Interview: White Light Fever

Email Print Tell us your story Comment

White Light Fever dropped by the Pegasus News offices recently for an interview and to play a few songs for us. The three-man band just completed their debut, Heavy Knife Blues, a record which harkens back to old-school rock and is influenced by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Wolfmother, and the White Stripes. If you get the chance, I suggest checking the album out. Be on the lookout for a CD review soon.

What we talked about in the interview:

  • How they got from Army of Fools, to Japanese Auto Clinic, to White Light Fever
  • Putting together Heavy Knife Blues and who/what influenced the record
  • Mikey's manifesto on emo and the current state of rock music
  • Upcoming shows and their plans for the next album

While the band was in our studio, lead singer and guitarist Danny Billingsley played a few tracks from Heavy Knife Blues:
