City of Dallas teams up with DISD and NASCAR to launch SafeLight Dallas Stops on Red! education campaign
NASCAR Driver David Starr brought his racing skills and his message “On the racetrack I burn rubber—on the road I stop on Red!” to the City of Dallas today to help launch an educational campaign aimed at young drivers. The top ranked NASCAR Craftsman Series competitor raced his show car east on Marilla Street onto City Hall Plaza. He then joined city officials and DISD students who signed pledges to STOP for red lights and encourage their families and friends to do the same. Students will also receive an autographed David Starr poster with his show car and other educational materials
