Denton ISD’s “Partnership for Hispanic Success” set for Tuesday, May 15
Parents of Hispanic students are invited to a special open house at the Sarah and Troy LaGrone Advanced Technology Complex slated for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, located at 1504 Long Road.
The event is part of a series of programs for a new initiative titled “Partnership for Hispanic Success.” All presentations will be conducted in English and Spanish.
The main purpose of this event is to inform Hispanic families about homes, cars and loans and “Getting a Fair Deal.” The initiative is sponsored by area agencies, school districts and universities.
The ATC is a professional training facility built by Denton Independent School District to prepare high school students and adults for today’s and tomorrow’s high demand careers.
