The University of Dallas (UD) has announced that Dan Cruse has been elected chairman of the University’s board of trustees following the retirement from the board of Harry Longwell, who served in this leadership capacity since 2003 and as a trustee since 2001. He adds, “Dan Cruse now holds the unique distinction of being the first UD alumnus to be elected to the board and to serve as board chairman. Over the last 25 years, Dan has made innumerable contributions to the University and we look forward to capitalizing on his extensive knowledge of our institution and his organizational development capabilities as we pursue new growth opportunities.”
