World Market to open store in Arlington

ARLINGTON — World Market, the one-stop, home entertainment-shopping and decor retailer with nearly 50 years of dominance in the import area will open a new location in Arlington, Texas on May 10 at the Arlington Highlands shopping center. Grand Opening celebrations will be held at the new store, located at 239 Curtis Mathes Way starting Thursday, May 10 through Sunday, May 13 with free food samples, wine tasting, live music, giveaways and balloons for the kids.

The Arlington store will be a one-stop shopping adventure through over 18,000 square feet of merchandise, including hand-carved masks from Ghana, a dining table from Thailand, handcrafted baskets from Indonesia, chocolates from Switzerland, cloth napkins from India, Arnott’s biscuits from Australia or a Sangiovese from Italy.
