World Market to open store in Arlington
ARLINGTON World Market, the one-stop, home entertainment-shopping and decor retailer with nearly 50 years of dominance in the import area will open a new location in Arlington, Texas on May 10 at the Arlington Highlands shopping center. Grand Opening celebrations will be held at the new store, located at 239 Curtis Mathes Way starting Thursday, May 10 through Sunday, May 13 with free food samples, wine tasting, live music, giveaways and balloons for the kids.

The new store will feature unique and useful gifts from around the world
“World Market is excited to bring goods from around the world to the located in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex,” said Mike Allen, World Market’s Executive Vice President of Store Operations. “Customers come to World Market to experience an adventurous approach to home décor and discover food and wine selections that span the globe. World Market better enables residents to celebrate family gatherings with unique and festive home entertaining items and furnishings.”
The Arlington store will be a one-stop shopping adventure through over 18,000 square feet of merchandise, including hand-carved masks from Ghana, a dining table from Thailand, handcrafted baskets from Indonesia, chocolates from Switzerland, cloth napkins from India, Arnott’s biscuits from Australia or a Sangiovese from Italy.
