Route 121 heading towards Melissa will go from two lanes to four
TxDOT is holding a meeting next week to go over its plans and answer questions.
MELISSA The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), in cooperation with Collin County, will conduct a public meeting to solicit public comments on improvements it plans to make to State Highway (SH) 121, from SH 5 in the City of Melissa to East Line Road on the Collin County line.
In this case, "improvements" consist of widening it from two lanes to four.
The meeting will be at Melissa First Baptist Church, 2600 SH 121, on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, in an open-house format between 6 and 8 p.m. Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. Project personnel will help interpret the drawings and material and discuss possible mobility and environmental effects of the proposed project.
