Copper thieves caught in the act at Weatherford candle store

WEATHERFORD — If you want to see what an alleged copper thief looks like, NBC 5 has a mug shot of one of the guys who just got arrested for stealing copper. It's unfair to make a judgment based on someone's appearance, but doesn't that guy look totally how you'd expect a copper-wire thief to look?

The other cool thing about this story is the small-town way it refers to the fact that "large amounts of copper wiring have been stolen from Dreamer's Candles on several occasions". Like, we're all supposed to know what Dreamer's Candles is. Which, it turns out, is a candle shop in Weatherford. Cops were actually "conducting surveillance" when the crooks showed up. They got to make a bust! Yay.
