Richardson election results
RICHARDSON — Seven slots on the city council were considered on Saturday night in the Richardson elections. Here are the unofficial results:
Council Place 1
Bill Denton, 2,826 votes
Bob Townsend, 3,113 votes
Council Place 2
Kevin Cozort, 1,720 votes
Rhea Allison, 3,916 votes
Council Place 3
John Murphy, 3,667 votes
Darrell Day, 1,985 votes
Council Place 5
George S. McKearin, 1,569 votes
Pris Hayes, 1,601 votes
H. William Gordon, 746 votes
Justin Ward, 369 votes
Sheryl Miller, 1,402 votes
Council Place 6
Steve Mitchell, 4,005 votes
Matthew Moseley, 1,516 votes
Council Place 7
John F. Sweeden, 2,874 votes
Dennis Stewart, 2,970 votes
Gary A. Slagel ran uncontested for Place 4.
