Pizza Hut Park and the U.S. Lacrosse-North Texas Chapter will host the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) National Championship at the home of FC Dallas from May 15-19, 2007. Early round games will be played throughout the Pizza Hut Park complex fields, with the Semifinals and Championship games played inside the main stadium at Pizza Hut Park. Admission to early round games is free. Tickets for the Semifinals and Championship Games range from $10-$25 and can be purchased on the day of the event at the Pizza Hut Park North Box Office. Parking is free.
The Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) is a national organization of non-varsity, college lacrosse programs. With over 200 teams in two divisions, the MCLA represents the fastest growing segment of college men's lacrosse. The MCLA provides a governing structure much like the NCAA, with eligibility rules, national polls, All-Americans and a national tournament to decide national champions in both the A and B Divisions. Its nine conferences are spread across the country, from coast to coast. The MCLA exists to provide a quality college lacrosse experience where varsity lacrosse does not yet exist. On an individual scale, the MCLA provides rules and a structure that promotes "virtual varsity" lacrosse. For more in the National Championships, visit www.mclachamptx.com.
