Fort Worth vice lets Channel 11 document prostitution sting operation
FORT WORTH Fort Worth's vice squad allowed Channel 11 to be a peeping tom on a prostitution sting operation on Monday night on East Lancaster Avenue. There's a video with reporter Carol Cavazos pointing out the "decoy" who walks over to a shiny yellow pickup truck, and then you see one of the arrestees sitting in the back of the cruiser. Prostitution=bad, but it all seems to be a pretty worthless exercise, since the vice cops say that "most of the men are first-time offenders and will probably end up with little jail time and probation," and that "East Lancaster Avenue has been a known haven for prostitution since the 1930's."
