Evicted businesses on Fry Street in Denton finally move on out
DENTON The DRC has a bittersweet story about businesses on Fry Street forced to vacate because a developer bought the block and plans to redevelop.
A couple of businesses moved out this weekend, including Bagheri's restaurant, which will now become Bagheri's Hookah Lounge at 1125 University Drive; and comic/book store Treasure Aisles, which found a new location around the corner at 118 Fry Street.
But the biggest sniffle party went on at The Tomato, the funky Italian/pizza place whose owners Becky and Mike Slusarski were given a two-month extension but who still can't find a new site.
